What this comparison compares

Seventeen criteria, checked on 29 October 2026 on kitchn.io, its pricing page, its Solutions pages and its Claude page, against Apogee’s own product pages.

We have not tested Kitchn: everything about it comes from what it publishes, and “not published” does not mean “absent”. When two Kitchn pages contradict each other, we go with its pricing page.

Two tools that do not start from the same place

Kitchn starts from an agency’s launch sheet. Its spreadsheet-style Launch Sheet lists ads row by row, with defaults set once per ad account: pixel, Page, Instagram account, URL parameters. Its quality check reads copy and formats before anything ships, and its previews let the client comment, then approve. It covers eight channels, three of them in beta, and prices by plan: ad accounts and ad uploads included, unlimited seats.

Apogee starts from the creatives you already have. It reads the convention in your file names with naming detection, sorts the creatives into one of the four testing structures, then launches on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads through the same six-step flow. It bills per seat, with unlimited Meta ad accounts.

If your agency runs many Meta ad accounts with a small team, Apogee only bills the people who launch: adding a client does not change the invoice.

The Launch Sheet and Apogee’s workflow, in detail

CriterionApogeeKitchn
Starting pointyour files, read by naming detectiona spreadsheet-style Launch Sheet, one row per ad
Grouping filesconcept, iteration and formats read from the names; one ad holds all the ratios of a creativefiles sorted into ads and placements from the naming convention and the aspect ratio
Ad set structure4 structures, picked from a card, on all three platformscampaign and ad set column on every row; on TikTok, the structure stays the media buyer’s
Shared settingsconfiguration set once, applied to the whole batchdefaults locked per ad account, and ad templates applied to the selection
Checks before launchstructure tree and required-field checkerQA Engine: spelling, client wording, formats by placement, fields, names
Client approvalnopreviews, comments and statuses; collaboration in beta in the Agency Suite offer
ChannelsMeta, TikTok, SnapchatMeta, TikTok, Google Demand Gen, Pinterest, Snapchat; LinkedIn, Spotify and AppLovin in beta

Both tools read your file names to group the formats of one creative. Apogee goes further on structure: grouping by concept becomes the reading unit of your test, on Meta as on TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads. Kitchn goes further on checks, client approval and the number of channels.

The arithmetic for your team

Kitchn shows its prices in euros without saying whether tax is included; Apogee shows its own before tax on its pricing page.

Alone or with one colleague on a few Meta ad accounts, you pay €69 per seat with Apogee, and €103.50 for two Starter seats, against EUR 499 a month with Kitchn. Its Launch Team plan covers 5 ad accounts and 900 ad uploads a month.

An agency with three media buyers on twelve ad accounts goes past Launch Team’s five: 7 more accounts at EUR 99 bring the bill to EUR 1,192 a month, or Launch Elite at EUR 1,999 for 15 accounts. With Apogee, three Pro seats cost €198.99 a month, TikTok and Snapchat included, whatever the number of Meta ad accounts.

The arithmetic turns around for a large team on few ad accounts. Ten people on five accounts pay EUR 499 with Kitchn, seats unlimited, against €495 for ten Pro seats with Apogee. Beyond ten people, and as long as the team stays under 900 uploads a month, Kitchn costs less.

The Bridge against Kitchn’s eight channels

If you also buy on Google Demand Gen or Pinterest, Kitchn covers those channels and Apogee does not. Its pages do not publish, however, moving an ad that is already live from one platform to another.

Apogee’s Bridge starts from the live ad, in all six directions between Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. It keeps the video and rewrites the text, the CTA and the UTMs to the rules of the destination platform, but crops nothing: an ad without a 9:16 variant is refused. It comes with the Pro and Scale plans, like the Apogee MCP and the REST API.

If an ad that works is running on TikTok and you want to take it to Meta with its text rewritten, of the two tools, only Apogee publishes that route.

What to check for yourself

Several Kitchn pages do not say the same thing. Its Standards page advertises approvals enforced before anything goes live, while its comparison page against Ads Uploader says approval status does not block a launch. Its Claude page describes an MCP server in beta, while that same comparison page says it has none. Its pricing page, finally, marks custom ad naming “Coming Soon” and collaboration “In Beta” in the Agency Suite offer.

Also ask what counts as an ad upload in Launch Team’s quota of 900 a month.

Then answer three questions:

  1. Do your clients need to approve every ad before it launches?
  2. Will you buy on Google or Pinterest within twelve months, or need to move an ad from one platform to another?
  3. How many people launch, and on how many ad accounts?

The third sets the plan with Kitchn and the number of seats with Apogee. To answer it on a real batch, try Apogee for 7 days for €1, with no ad limit, on all three platforms from Pro.

Run the test on your own creatives.
