What this comparison compares

Eighteen criteria, checked on 29 October 2026 on koast.ai, its documentation and its developer site, against Apogee’s own product pages.

We have not tested Koast: everything about it comes from what it publishes, and “not published” does not mean “absent”. When two Koast pages contradict each other, we go with its pricing and billing pages.

Two tools that do not start from the same place

Koast starts from running Meta ad accounts. It puts the numbers of all your accounts on one screen, hands morning triage, spend cuts and recaps to agents, and keeps sensitive decisions for your sign-off. Its tracking board takes a creative from request to live, and its bulk launching publishes the same batch into several ad accounts in one pass, on a single post ID. It bills a flat plan: $499 a month, setup fee on top, for ten ad accounts and unlimited seats.

Apogee starts from the creatives you already have. It reads the convention in your file names with naming detection, sorts the creatives into one of the four testing structures, then launches on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads through the same six-step flow. It bills per seat, with unlimited Meta ad accounts.

If you launch on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, Apogee covers all three platforms through the same workflow, from €99 per seat, MCP and API included.

Koast’s MCP and the Apogee MCP, in detail

Both tools can be driven from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. Here is what each one publishes.

The detail on Apogee’s side is on the Apogee MCP and REST API pages. Koast publishes a guardrail Apogee does not have in that form, the spend ceiling per connection; Apogee publishes what Koast does not have: TikTok, Snapchat and moving ads between platforms from the AI.

The arithmetic for your team

Koast shows its prices in dollars without saying whether tax is included; Apogee shows its own before tax on its pricing page. The gaps below therefore depend on the exchange rate.

Alone on Meta, you pay €69 a month with Apogee, €99 with the MCP, TikTok and Snapchat, against $499 a month with Koast, setup fee on top.

An agency with three media buyers on twelve ad accounts goes past Growth’s ten: two accounts at $30 bring the Koast bill to $559 a month. With Apogee, three seats cost €138.69 on Starter, or €198.99 on Pro with the MCP, whatever the number of Meta ad accounts.

The arithmetic turns around for a large team on ten ad accounts or fewer. Koast charges no seats there, while ten Pro seats cost €495 with Apogee. From around ten Pro seats, or around fifteen Starter seats, Koast’s flat plan costs less.

The Bridge against a Meta-only tool

Koast only launches on Meta. If part of your budget goes through TikTok or Snapchat, you will need another tool next to it.

Apogee’s Bridge starts from an ad that is already live and recreates it on another platform, in all six directions between Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. It keeps the video and rewrites the text, the CTA and the UTMs to the rules of the destination platform, but crops nothing: an ad without a 9:16 variant is refused. It comes with the Pro and Scale plans.

If an ad that works is running on TikTok and you want to take it to Meta, of the two tools, only Apogee publishes that route.

What to check for yourself

Three points remain unclear on Koast’s website. Its home page invites you to “take the keys yourself for 7 days”, while its documentation says the account only exists after payment: ask whether there is a trial. Its pricing page advertises unlimited seats on Growth, while its Collaborate page mentions a limited number of seats. And the amount of the setup fee is not published.

Also ask what the ‘Agency’ plans that unlock the REST API cover.

Then answer three questions:

  1. Do you buy on Meta only, or on TikTok and Snapchat too?
  2. Do you want agents that cut spend on their own, or a launch that follows your naming and testing structures?
  3. How many people launch, and on how many ad accounts?

The third sets the real price with Koast as with Apogee. To answer it on a real batch, try Apogee for 7 days for €1, with no ad limit, on all three platforms from Pro.

Run the test on your own creatives.

7 days on the plan of your choice, no ad limit, for €1. Or request a demo on your own setup.

Frequently asked questions

What is Koast?

Koast is a tool for teams buying ads on Meta, made by Reign Technologies Inc. Its website, checked on 29 October 2026, brings together a multi-account dashboard, agents that watch the ad accounts and act on your rules, a creative tracking board and bulk ad launching into several ad accounts at once. It only covers Meta, Facebook and Instagram.

How much does Koast cost?

Koast publishes a Growth plan at $499 a month, month to month, plus a one-time setup fee whose amount is not published, checked on 29 October 2026. It includes up to 10 ad accounts, then $30 per account per month, unlimited seats and unlimited launching. Enterprise is on quote, on an annual agreement. Apogee starts at €69 per seat, per month, with unlimited Meta ad accounts.

Does Koast have a free trial?

Koast does not publish a free trial: its documentation, checked on 29 October 2026, says the account is created after payment. The Growth plan comes with a 30-day guarantee, refunded if the tool does not work with your accounts. Apogee can be tried for 7 days for €1, on the plan you pick and with no ad limit, with a credit card; unless you cancel before day 7, the plan is then charged.

Does Koast handle TikTok and Snapchat?

No. Koast's FAQ, checked on 29 October 2026, says it only launches ads on Meta, Facebook and Instagram, and not on TikTok, Snapchat, Google or X. Apogee launches on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads through the same workflow, and moves a live ad from one platform to another with the Bridge, in all six directions.

Does Koast have an MCP server or an API?

Yes. Koast publishes an MCP server at mcp.koast.ai, with 71 tools on Meta, open to all its paid plans; publishing stays hidden there until a spend ceiling is set. Its REST API, webhooks and command line are reserved for ‘Agency’ plans, which its pricing page does not list. Apogee includes its 80-tool MCP server and a 48-operation REST API from Pro, on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat.

Koast or Apogee, which one to pick?

Koast suits a team that only buys on Meta, wants agents that watch and cut ads on its rules, and puts many people on ten ad accounts or fewer. Apogee suits a team that also launches on TikTok or Snapchat, wants to keep its naming and testing structures on all three platforms, or works alone or with a few people on many Meta ad accounts.
