What this comparison compares

Eighteen criteria, checked on 29 October 2026 on upload.ad, its pricing page, its features page and its MCP documentation, against Apogee’s own product pages.

We have not tested upload.ad: everything about it comes from what it publishes, and “not published” does not mean “absent”. When two upload.ad pages contradict each other, we go with its pricing page.

Two tools that do not start from the same place

upload.ad starts from the creative library. Files arrive from your computer or from watched Drive and Dropbox folders, get sorted into folders and versions, then go through review: comments on the exact frame, approval status, a share link the client opens with no account. Once approved, they become ads on Meta or TikTok. It bills per connected ad account, never per seat, and reviewers are free.

Apogee starts from creatives that are already finished. It reads the convention in your file names with naming detection, sorts the creatives into one of the four testing structures, then launches on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads through the same six-step flow. It bills per seat, with unlimited Meta ad accounts.

If your creatives already arrive approved, by the dozen, Apogee starts there: it reads their names, groups them by concept and launches them on all three platforms.

The detail on Apogee’s side is on the Meta Ads bulk upload, TikTok Ads bulk upload and Snapchat Ads bulk upload pages. upload.ad goes further before launch, on review, and after it, on rules and creative tests. Apogee goes further at the moment of launch: naming, grouping formats and testing structures, on three platforms.

The arithmetic for your team

upload.ad shows its prices in dollars without saying whether tax is included; Apogee shows its own before tax on its pricing page. The gaps below therefore depend on the exchange rate.

Alone on one ad account, upload.ad costs less: $59 a month with Meta and TikTok, against €69 with Apogee on Meta and €99 with TikTok and Snapchat.

The number of ad accounts turns the arithmetic around. A freelancer on eight Meta ad accounts moves to upload.ad’s Pro plan, $449 a month for ten accounts; with Apogee, they keep one seat, at €69 or €99. An agency with three media buyers on twelve ad accounts moves to the Agency plan, $799 a month for fifteen accounts. With Apogee, three Pro seats cost €198.99 a month, whatever the number of Meta ad accounts.

The number of people, on the other hand, plays for upload.ad. Fifteen people on ten ad accounts or fewer pay $449 a month with upload.ad, client reviewers on top and free, against €742.50 for fifteen Pro seats with Apogee.

The Bridge against publishing to two platforms

upload.ad publishes the same library file to Meta and to TikTok, with no new export. These are creatives about to be launched: its pages do not publish moving an ad that is already live from one platform to another, and Snapchat is not part of it.

Apogee’s Bridge starts from the live ad, in all six directions between Meta, TikTok and Snapchat. It keeps the video and rewrites the text, the CTA and the UTMs to the rules of the destination platform, but crops nothing: an ad without a 9:16 variant is refused. It comes with the Pro and Scale plans, like the Apogee MCP and the REST API.

If an ad that works is running on TikTok and you want to take it to Meta with its text rewritten, of the two tools, only Apogee publishes that route.

What to check for yourself

Ask upload.ad what “publishing” covers. Its FAQ explains that publishing sends approved creatives to the ad account without launching anything until they are in a campaign; its ad builder, on the other hand, creates ads. Also check what an AI token buys, from 100 to 1,000 a month depending on the plan.

Then answer three questions:

  1. Is the time lost in getting creatives approved, or in launching them?
  2. Do you also launch on Snapchat, or will you need to move an ad from one platform to another?
  3. How many people launch, and on how many ad accounts?

The third sets the plan with upload.ad and the number of seats with Apogee. To answer it on a real batch, try Apogee for 7 days for €1, with no ad limit, on all three platforms from Pro.

Run the test on your own creatives.

Frequently asked questions

What is upload.ad?

upload.ad is an ad creative library that goes all the way to launch, made by CROapps Oy in Helsinki. Its website, checked on 29 October 2026, brings together creative storage, review with comments on the exact frame, client approval with no account needed, then ad creation on Meta and TikTok, with automatic rules, creative tests and a desktop app.

How much does upload.ad cost?

upload.ad publishes four monthly plans, checked on 29 October 2026: Starter at $59 (1 ad account, 2 seats), Growth at $199 (3 ad accounts, 5 seats), Pro at $449 (10 ad accounts, 15 seats) and Agency at $799 (15 ad accounts, unlimited seats, then $15 per account). Annual billing gives two months free, and Enterprise is on quote. Apogee starts at €69 per seat, per month, with unlimited Meta ad accounts.

Does upload.ad have a free trial?

Yes. upload.ad offers 7 days free with no credit card; without a subscription at the end, the workspace and files stay read-only, according to its pricing page on 29 October 2026. Apogee has no free trial: every plan can be tried for 7 days for €1, with no ad limit, on TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads too from Pro, with a credit card; unless you cancel before day 7, the plan is then charged.

Does upload.ad handle TikTok and Snapchat?

upload.ad handles TikTok, with eight objectives and Spark Ads, as well as Meta. It does not cover Snapchat: its pricing page, checked on 29 October 2026, names Meta and TikTok as its only platforms. Apogee launches on Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads through the same workflow, but only with the Sales objective on TikTok and Snapchat.

Does upload.ad have an API or an MCP server?

Yes. upload.ad publishes a REST API, a command line, an SDK, webhooks and an MCP server at upload.ad/mcp, included in all its paid plans; the MCP also works during the trial. Apogee publishes the Apogee MCP, with 80 tools, and a 48-operation REST API, from the Pro plan with 10,000 credits a month, on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, the Bridge included.

upload.ad or Apogee, which one to pick?

upload.ad suits a team whose bottleneck is getting creatives approved by the client, on Meta and TikTok, with few ad accounts and several people. Apogee suits a team that receives finished creatives and bulk launches them on Meta, TikTok and Snapchat, with its naming and testing structures, across many Meta ad accounts.
