Credits

The MCP server and the REST API share one budget of credits per account. Reading is free up to a daily cap; what changes an ad platform, creates ads or runs Apogee's AI spends credits.

In short

  • 1 credit = 0.01 of your billing currency (euro, dollar or pound).
  • Pro includes 10,000 credits a month, Scale 30,000. They come back on the 1st of each month (UTC) and do not roll over.
  • Reads are free up to 5,000 a day on Pro and 10,000 on Scale.
  • A call that fails costs nothing, and neither does an answer replayed for an Idempotency-Key.
  • Credit packs top you up when the month's credits are spent; they last 12 months.

Credits per plan

ProIncluded10,0002,5005,000
ScaleIncluded30,0007,50010,000
  • A workspace pools its seats' credits (the plan's credits × the paid seats): every member spends the same pool, and the owner can cap a member's share. A workspace's trial gets a quarter of one seat's credits.
  • The month is the calendar month in UTC. The included credits are spent first, then the packs.
  • Subscriptions from before the October 2026 pricing keep their access to the MCP and the API: their calls are counted in Settings → Usage, never stopped by credits.

What costs credits

A call costs what it did, once it succeeded. Each tool's and each operation's page says what it costs.

WhatCreditsFor example
Reading, preparing, following: lists, numbers, the launch interview, a launch plan or an action prepared, a status, Apogee's own settings, imports and uploads. Free up to the daily free reads, then 1 credit per read whoami, list_ad_accounts, list_campaigns, list_adsets; Get the account and key, List ad accounts, List pages
A change on an ad platform: an action run (pause, activate, budget, duplicate, targeting, a new campaign, ad set or ad), on Meta, TikTok or Snapchat. 2 per change execute_action; Confirm action
Each ad a launch or a Bridge transfer created, counted when it ends: an ad that failed is free. 15 per ad launch, bridge_transfer; Confirm launch plan, Confirm bridge transfer
A Bridge transfer to Meta: Apogee's AI rewrites the ads' texts. 120 per transfer –
A comment sync started (one already running costs nothing). 10 per sync trigger_comment_sync
A web page read by Apogee's AI (the business profile, a product page). 150 per page, 0 from the cache fetch_website_content

Two examples: a launch that creates 12 ads costs 180 credits, its interview and plan nothing (within the free reads); a weekly review that reads numbers costs nothing, and pausing the three ads it found, in one action, costs 2.

Free reads

Every read (a list, a number, a status, a launch interview, a plan or an action prepared) is free up to the plan's daily cap: 5,000 a day on Pro, 10,000 on Scale, every key and assistant of the account together, counted per UTC day. Past it, a read costs 1 credit, up to 3 times the cap; beyond that, reads answer 429 daily_read_cap until midnight UTC.

Credit packs

CreditsPrice (your billing currency, excl. tax)Per 1,000 credits
2,5002510
10,000909
50,0004258.5

A pack is bought once, in the Apogee app, and lasts 12 months. Packs are spent after the month's included credits.

When credits run out

  • What costs credits answers 402 credits_exhausted, with buy_url, the page to buy a pack. On the MCP server, the tool answers the same words as an error the assistant reads.
  • Reads go on, within their daily cap.
  • A workspace member whose monthly share is used gets 402 member_cap_reached: the owner raises it.
  • The month's credits come back on the 1st (UTC).

Following your usage

Settings → Usage in the Apogee app shows the credits used and left this month, day by day, per tool or operation, and per API key or assistant connection. Apogee also alerts the account through its notification channels (email, Slack, Discord) when 80 % and then 100 % of the month's credits are used.
