Apogee vs Revealbot (Birch): automate or launch?
Birch, formerly Revealbot, runs your campaigns on rules across four platforms. Apogee bulk uploads your creatives. Pricing and features checked 1 Oct 2026.
Apogee is the tool this site sells. Read the table knowing that. Every figure below comes from each vendor’s own published pricing, checked on 1 October 2026 on bir.ch.
| Criterion | Apogee | Birch |
|---|---|---|
| Automation rules | No rules engine; scheduled Autopilot agents, daily to monthly, on Meta | AND/OR conditions, 20+ actions, checked as often as every 15 minutes |
| Platforms covered | Meta, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads; Sales objective only on the last two | Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads |
| Bulk upload | Computer, Google Drive, Frame.io, Dropbox, on all three platforms | Stage, from the Pro plan: Google Drive, plus Google Sheets for Meta; unlimited on Enterprise |
| Naming | AI detection of the convention in your file names | Macros: tags added automatically to new campaigns, ad sets and ads |
| Testing structures | 4 structures, including insertion into an existing ad set | Duplicate a winning ad set, one ad set per folder, add to a live ad set |
| AI agent in the tool | Autopilot, on all three plans: analyzes the Meta account and acts after confirmation, or on its own in auto-execute | Birch AI, in early access, no trial: drafts and audits rules |
| Access from Claude or ChatGPT | No MCP server published to date | Birch MCP: reads rules and logs, manages existing rules |
| Reporting | Meta analytics and cost funnel; agent reports to Slack, Discord or email | Scheduled cross-platform reports, white label |
| Moving a live ad to another platform | The Bridge, six directions between Meta, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads (beta) | Not published |
| First paid price | $75 per seat, per month | $49 a month (Essential, no rules or Stage per its plan list), up to $10K in ad spend |
| Price as ad spend grows | Unchanged: the price follows seats | Pro from $99 to $1,799 a month, depending on spend |
When Birch is the better choice
- If your problem is monitoring: cutting an ad set that drifts and scaling the one that holds, as often as every 15 minutes, is Birch's job, not Apogee's.
- If you spend on Google Ads: Birch applies the same rules there as elsewhere. Apogee does not cover Google.
- If your decisions rest on Hyros, AppsFlyer, Adjust or a Google Sheet: Birch turns them into rule triggers. Autopilot does not read them.
- If you send reports to clients: Birch schedules them in white label. Apogee shares a filtered view by URL.
Two tools, two moments in a campaign
Revealbot is now called Birch, and revealbot.com redirects to bir.ch. The job has not changed: Birch watches live Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads campaigns and acts on them: pausing, scaling, setting budgets.
Apogee comes in earlier: it imports a batch of files (50 to more than 1,000 on Meta), reads their naming, builds the testing structure and launches on Meta, TikTok Ads or Snapchat Ads. This site sells Apogee: across eleven criteria, Birch takes five, including the one that defines it. “Not published” means the vendor does not advertise it on its site, not that the feature is absent.
Birch answers “what do I do with what is running?”, Apogee “how do I get what is coming in live?”.
Rules: Birch’s ground
A Birch rule compares a metric to itself last week, or to the top 10 items on that metric, then acts, as often as every 15 minutes, across several accounts at once. Ready-made strategies cover day parting or scaling on ROAS.
Apogee has no equivalent. Its Autopilot agents run at most once a day, on Meta: an ad set that drifts can wait until the next day, where a Birch rule can see it within fifteen minutes.
Pricing: ad spend against seats
Birch charges on the monthly ad spend of every connected account, with no mention of a user count; Apogee charges per seat. The table compares costs, not two equivalent services.
| Situation | Birch Pro, with rules | Apogee Starter |
|---|---|---|
| 1 person, $10K spent a month | $99 a month | $75 a month |
| 1 person, $75K spent a month | $499 a month | $75 a month |
| 6 people, $10K spent a month | $99 a month | $450 a month |
Birch publishes its pricing in dollars, with the final amount confirmed at checkout depending on your country. On monthly billing, going over your spend tier costs extra.
What to check for yourself
Both tools can be tried without a credit card. Three questions settle it faster than the table:
- Does your time go into preparing launches, or into watching what is running?
- Do you spend on Google Ads, which Birch covers and Apogee does not?
- Do you need a reaction within fifteen minutes, or is a daily check enough?
Frequently asked questions
Did Revealbot become Birch?
Yes, Revealbot is now called Birch, which the vendor also writes Bïrch. The revealbot.com address redirects to bir.ch, whose pages are titled "Birch (Revealbot)". The job is still rule-based automation.
How much does Revealbot cost?
Birch, formerly Revealbot, prices on your monthly ad spend, across all connected accounts. The Pro plan, which holds the rules, costs $99 a month for up to $10K in spend, and $1,799 for up to $500K. Per its plan list, Essential, from $49 to $499, does not include rules, although its FAQ says every feature is available on every plan. Annual billing gives one month free.
Can you bulk upload with Birch?
Yes: Birch does bulk upload from its Pro plan, with Stage, which creates Meta, TikTok and Snapchat ads from Google Drive, and from a Google Sheet for Meta only. The Launcher sets up several ad sets at once, up to 50 ads each. Apogee also imports from your computer, Frame.io and Dropbox.
Does Apogee have automated rules like Revealbot?
No, Apogee has no rules engine. The closest thing is a scheduled Autopilot agent, on Meta: daily to monthly, in report only, propose actions or auto-execute mode, with 3, 10 or 200 prompts a month depending on the plan.
Is there a Revealbot free trial?
Yes, Birch offers a 14-day trial with no credit card, with every feature except Birch AI. Apogee can be tried with 15 free creatives, no credit card.
Do I have to choose between Revealbot and Apogee?
Not necessarily, because Birch and Apogee do not cover the same step: Birch adjusts what is running, Apogee launches what is coming in. With both, avoid having a Birch rule and an auto-execute Autopilot agent act on the same ad set.
