Account Restriction. Please try again later: We're facing some trouble with your account. Please try again later. (#3910001)
In short
Meta blocks publishing or delivery because of a problem on the account that it doesn’t describe, and trying again later is often not enough. Check Account Quality and Business Support Home, settle any pending payment, confirm your identity and test the ad with another Page, then contact support if the error lasts more than a day.

| Message (API documentation) | Your account is experiencing some trouble. Please try again later. | Votre compte rencontre des problèmes. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement. |
Where it shows up: in Ads Manager, when you publish an ad or boost a post and on ads showing “Delivery error” (sometimes rejected before review), and in Marketing API responses.
Why it happens
- A block on the account, with no reason. The title talks about a restriction, but the message only says Meta is “facing some trouble” with your account and asks you to try again later. The Marketing API documentation says nothing more, and as of October 21, 2026, we have not found any Meta help page that mentions this code. Unlike “Account restricted” or “Your account is restricted from advertising”, there is no reason and no next step on screen.
- The same text exists with code #2643145. Since July 2025, many advertisers have seen this title and message with #2643145, most often on an ad showing “Delivery error”, sometimes when boosting a post. Reports continue in 2026.
- Often a payment or a verification on hold. In the threads, the error often comes together with a declined payment or a payment method that got unlinked from the account. In May 2026, an account on monthly invoicing was flagged for a financial security check. In August 2025, Meta support told an advertiser the action was under review as part of a standard compliance process.
- Sometimes the Page. Two advertisers think the Page is flagged without Meta saying so: the same ad goes through with another Page.
If the message says instead that you’re temporarily blocked from an action, it is a different error: “Your account is restricted right now”.
How to fix it
- Try again later, as the message asks.
- Check Account Quality, then, on a computer, Business Support Home: in the Account overview, click the ad account, the Page, your profile or the business portfolio. If it shows as restricted, follow the step offered under What you can do (confirm your identity, complete a verification, secure your account or request a review), as Meta’s help center on disabled or restricted accounts explains. You must be an admin of the account to request a review.
- If the error lasts more than a day, contact support from Business Support Home.
Then, based on the advertiser reports below:
- Settle any pending payment: in Business settings > Payment methods, pay the balance due (Pay now), and add the payment method again if it has disappeared from the account.
- Confirm your identity: in Meta Business Suite, open Settings (bottom left), go to the authorizations and verifications section and verify your identity or your organization. Also turn on two-factor authentication on the profile that publishes (Accounts Center > Password and security).
- Test the same ad with another Page, ideally an older one. If it goes through, the original Page is the problem.
- Delete the campaigns in error, reset Ads Manager from the ⋯ menu at the top right (advertisers call it “Reset Ad Manager” or “Restart Ad Manager”), then create a new campaign with a small budget. According to one advertiser, the reset only clears unsaved changes.
What worked for other advertisers
On r/FacebookAds, advertisers blocked by this message, or by the same text with #2643145, share what got their ads running again. No fix works every time, and most have a single confirmation:
- Publish with another, older Page: “It usually means the business page is soft flagged. change the business page.” (2 confirmations, July 2025).
- Turn on two-factor authentication on the profile that publishes, complete the business details in Business Support Home and publish again. If it still fails, test another Page, then open a support request, ask for an escalation and wait 7 to 14 days without duplicating the ad over and over (2 confirmations, “Facebook ads is crazy pls help” thread).
- Delete every campaign in error, reset Ads Manager, then create a $4 campaign: the ad went live after two months of attempts (1 confirmation, July 2025). The reset alone was enough for another advertiser (1 confirmation, September 2025).
- On the payment side: add back the payment method that got unlinked after a manual payment of the balance (1 confirmation, July 2025). For an account on monthly invoicing, go through Meta’s accounts receivable team, have the bank verify the card and leave the account alone during the review (1 confirmation, May 2026).
- Wait and try again every day: the ads came back after 7 to 8 days for one advertiser, who had also raised the budget a little and added the payment method again (1 confirmation, August 2025), and after 39 days of daily follow-ups with support for another (1 confirmation, August 2025).
One advertiser also says the identity or organization verification in Business Suite fixed the error, but posted the same message in several threads, with no confirmation from anyone else (February 2026).
What didn’t work: duplicating or rebuilding the ads, switching ad account, business portfolio, profile, Page, card or browser, clearing the cache, using the mobile app or a VPN. Some advertisers tried all of it for more than a month without any change. During a review, new cards and PayPal were declined automatically, according to support as quoted by one advertiser.
These fixes date from 2025 and 2026, and none of them works every time.
How to avoid it next time
- Turn on two-factor authentication on every profile that publishes ads, and complete the business verification before you need it.
- Keep a backup payment method, and warn your bank if it blocks Meta’s charges: one advertiser noticed that in July 2025, the statement label changed from “FACEBOOKBK…” to “METAADS…”.
- Ignore people who offer to unblock the account for a fee: one such offer, payable in cryptocurrency, circulates in these threads.

Frequently asked questions
“Account Restriction”, “Account restricted”, “Your account is restricted right now”: which one do I have?
Read the message. This one only says Meta is having trouble with your account and asks you to try again later, with no reason given. “Account restricted” is a security check that asks for your identity. “Your account is restricted from advertising” blames your ads for breaking the policies. “Your account is restricted right now” (#2859015) blocks a single action for a while.
I get the same message with code #2643145. Is it the same error?
Yes: same title, same text. Most threads from 2025 and 2026 quote #2643145, others #3910001. The steps are the same.
Account Quality shows no restriction. Why am I blocked?
The message gives no reason. Some advertisers think the Page is under review without Meta saying so, because the same ad goes through with another Page. Others had a declined payment or a pending verification. Support told one advertiser it was a standard compliance process, and others that it was a technical bug.
How long does the block last?
The message gives no timeframe. In the threads quoted above, the block lasted 7 to 8 days for one advertiser, 39 days for another and two months for a third. Another one advises allowing 7 to 14 days after asking support for an escalation.
Should I create a new ad account, Page or business portfolio?
For most advertisers who tried, the error followed them: a new ad account, business portfolio, profile or card changed nothing. Only a different, older Page unblocked the ad for some.
