Meta Subcode 3065002 Restricted or disabled account

Facebook Ad Account disabled (error subcode 3065002)

In short

Meta disabled the ad account without giving a reason, and as of October 21, 2026, we have not found any Meta help page that mentions this code: in the only known case, a personal ad account had been disabled years earlier and no review button showed up. Open Business Support Home and follow the step Meta offers for that account. The number of review requests is limited and the decision made after the review is final; if no button shows up, contact support from Business Support Home.

Message Facebook Ad Account disabled

Where it shows up: in Account Quality, on the disabled ad account, with code #3065002.

Why it happens

  • Meta gives no reason. The only known text is the title “Facebook Ad Account disabled” followed by code #3065002. As of October 21, 2026, we have not found any Meta help page that mentions this code, and the screen says neither what the account is blamed for nor what to do.
  • The account may have been disabled long ago. In the only thread that quotes this code (October 2025), it is the personal ad account attached to a Facebook profile. It had been disabled in 2021, although its owner had never created an ad, and the owner only found out four years later.
  • No way to appeal was offered. In the same case, neither Account Quality nor the Business Help Center showed a button to request a review.
  • It is not the payment error. If the screen says the account has a payment issue, that is a different error, and paying the balance fixes it: see “Ad account disabled” for a payment issue. The neighboring subcodes in the same series are billing errors: 3065000 and 3065005 block publishing until a balance is paid.

How to fix it

For a disabled or restricted account, Meta’s help center gives this path:

  1. On a computer, open Meta’s Business Support Home.
  2. In the Account overview, click the disabled ad account. Check your Facebook profile as well: if the profile itself is restricted, see “Account restricted” or “Your account is restricted from advertising” instead.
  3. Under What you can do, follow the step Meta offers: confirm your identity, finish a verification, pay a balance or Request review. You need to be an admin of the ad account.
  4. If a balance due or a failed payment shows up, pay it from Billing & payments, as for the payment error.
  5. Before you request a review, keep in mind that the number of requests is limited and that the decision made after the review is final, according to Meta’s help center on requesting a review. If no review button shows up, contact support from Business Support Home. No advertiser reports getting back an account with this code.

What other advertisers suggest, unconfirmed

The only r/FacebookAds thread that quotes this code, posted on October 28, 2025, has no confirmed fix:

  1. Three people suggest opening a new Facebook account, “You’ll have to start a new Facebook account” (0 confirmations, October 2025). None of them says they got the old account back. One of them, who has a Meta rep for another account, could not get the restriction lifted either.

What did not work for the thread’s author: the known support contact links, clearing the cache, another browser, private browsing, a VPN or a region set to the United States. None of it led to an appeal process.

Before opening a new profile, read the FAQ of the “Account restricted” page: advertisers who did it to get around a restriction saw the new profile blocked right away.

How to avoid it next time

  • Check the status of all your accounts in Business Support Home from time to time, including the personal ad account of your profile: in the known case, the account had been disabled for four years when it was found.
  • Give every ad account more than one legitimate admin: Meta warns that an ad account whose only user is a restricted profile can be disabled.
  • Keep a valid payment method and no unpaid balance: the neighboring subcodes in this series (3065000, 3065005) block publishing over a balance due.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no appeal option anywhere?

As of October 21, 2026, we have not found any Meta help page that mentions this code or explains why no review is offered. Meta’s help center says the number of review requests is limited and the decision made after the review is final. If no button shows up, contact support from Business Support Home. In the only known thread, the account had been disabled since 2021 and the author found no way to appeal.

My ad account is disabled but I never ran an ad. Is that possible?

Yes, that is the October 2025 case: the personal ad account attached to the profile had been disabled in 2021, without a single ad created. Meta gave no reason.

How is it different from “Ad account disabled” for a payment issue?

That message says the account has a payment issue, and paying the balance due usually fixes it. In the only known case, code #3065002 only showed the title “Facebook Ad Account disabled”, with no reason: start by checking in Business Support Home whether a balance or a verification is requested.

Should I create a new Facebook account?

It is the only advice in the thread, given by three people, but none of them confirms it worked. Other advertisers who opened a new profile to get around a restriction say it was blocked right away.
